Jeannette Carson is a graduate of Elon University School of Law. She assists clients with child custody, child support, divorce, separation agreements, spousal support, and equitable distribution. She excels in working with diverse populations and is passionate about her work as a family law attorney.
While at Elon, Jeannette was a Leadership Fellow and a student mentor for other law school students. She also served on the Moot Court Board and was a court-appointed Guardian ad Litem volunteer. She received the 2023 North Carolina State Bar Annual Pro Bono Public Service Award for her extensive volunteer efforts during law school. Before becoming an attorney, she spent over a decade as a public school teacher, where she learned to listen deeply, explain clearly, and advocate fiercely for those without a voice.
HobbiesIn her free time, Jeannette enjoys attending church, volunteering at schools, traveling, and spending time with her loved ones. She volunteers for Read Across America Day for grades K-2 in Guilford County through the Greensboro Bar Association.
Guilty PleasureCruising the Caribbean with friends and family is Jeannette’s vacation of choice. She has gone on 12 cruises and looks forward to many more!
