Blinn Cushman, J.D.Associate Attorney
Attorney Blinn Cushman has been practicing law since 2015. Blinn enjoys working with his clients to find the strengths and weaknesses of their case and to identify strategies that will help to attain the client’s goal. He loves learning about and employing new practice strategies, and has attended more than double the required Continuing Legal Education each year that he has practiced.
Blinn serves as the Executive Vice President of the Greensboro Junior Chamber of Commerce, and will become president of the organization in 2019. He serves as the Regional Captain of the Piedmont Triad for the North Carolina Advocates for Justice’s New Lawyer Division, and is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association Foundation’s Development Committee. He is also an active member of the American Bar Association, the North Carolina Bar Association, North Carolina Advocates for Justice, the Greensboro Bar Association, and the Guilford American Inn of Court.
Blinn is originally from New York City, where he served as a volunteer member of the New York City Police Department’s Auxiliary Police program from 2003 to 2016. He was promoted to Sergeant in 2008, and was one of sixteen supervisors out of 700 awarded “Supervisor of the Year” in 2010. Blinn came to North Carolina to attend law school, and joined Woodruff Family Law Group in May 2018. He resides in Greensboro with his wife, Anna, an immigration attorney. When he isn’t practicing law, Blinn enjoys photography, fly-fishing, and exploring U.S. National Parks across the country.
